The American Sign Museum explores and visits the history of signage in America, how it has played a vital role in society and how, through development, many famous signs have been lost to history. With their own stories to tell, signs have long been part of the culture and the American Sign Museum aims to preserve this important part of America’s heritage.

Stroll through the vast exhibition space which is home to a myriad signs and signage from the past, visit the working neon sign shop, where you can watch the creation of the well-known flashing neon sign and learn about the art of sign-making. Located in Camp Washington, the museum is open from Wednesday through Sunday. Guided tours must be reserved in advance.
