Writers Theatre has been acclaimed as one of the United States' top theater companies by international publications. Since 2016, the company has maintained a permanent theatrical home in downtown Glencoe, designed by the internationally-renowned architectural firm Studio Gang Architects.
Theatergoers can enjoy performances at the venue's theater-in-the-round, which presents classic and bold contemporary works throughout its season. Favorite works such as Next To Normal and Twelfth Night are interspersed with new works from emerging and acclaimed modern playwrights. As performances frequently sell out, advance ticket reservations are strongly recommended to ensure seating.
