Review:
The Museum of Science and Industry was established in 1933, and is home to more than 2,0000 exhibits as well as an Omnimax theater. Permanent exhibits include a full-size replica of a coal mine, an 'idea factory' aimed at children, and the Apollo 8 spacecraft which brought the first humans into orbit around the moon.
Some exhibits require guests to pay an additional admission fee, and tickets can be purchased online, over the phone, or in person at the ticket counter. The museum is open every day of the year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
