Review:

Founded in 1868, the Lincoln Park Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the United States. The 35-acre zoo is home to more than 1000 animals from roughly 200 species, including polar bears, gorillas, lions, and zebras. In addition to field trips and programs for children, the zoo regularly hosts special events for adults like yoga classes, art shows, and evenings of live music.

The zoo is open 365 days a year, and several gift shops, dining establishments, and children's rides are located on the premises. Admission is free of charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.
