Review:

The Sophienburg Museum is dedicated to the history of early German settlers of the central Texas area. Guests to the museum will follow the journey of Prince Carl and his settlers as they make their way from Germany to the United States and then into what was then called “Indian Territory.”

Exhibits feature historical artifacts, photographs, and maps of the area then and now. The museum also serves the community by offering lectures, events, and research materials.
