Review:
At the Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture, visitors will learn about the history of German immigration to the Texas region, and they can view the furniture they specialized in making. The museum was once the home of furniture collectors Nan and Bill Dillen.
It now showcases their collection of over 70 pieces of antique Biedermeier furniture, as well as a collection of handmade quilts, English ironstone, and period accessories. A log cabin, summer kitchen, and cabinet shop are also on the property, and they are open to tours. Museum hours vary. Please visit the museum website or call for more information.
