Review:

The New England Carousel Museum celebrates the carousel, showcasing the history of the carnival staple. Founded in 1990, the Carousel Museum is based in a beautifully restored hosiery factory building and features a diverse collection of carousel art and memorabilia, carousel ephemera, vintage firefighting gear, and a small selection of Greek art. Visitors can learn more about the origins and development of carousels and the process of making these beautiful works of art. The museum also houses an art gallery, a restoration room where carousels are restored to their former glory, and a classic working carousel with antique steeds that offers visitors a quirky ride through history.
