Review:

Based in an 18th-century historical building in the center of Ridgefield, The Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center celebrates the rich history and heritage of Ridgefield and offers visitors the opportunity to experience life from American Colonial era through the mid-20th-century. Once the summer home of architect Cass Gilbert, the beautifully maintained building on Main Street features period décor and furnishings and an exquisitely manicured garden. The museum’s collection features period pieces and items from the early 18th to early 20th century, and staff in period dress are on hand to guide visitors through the museum and its fascinating history. The Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center also offers a range of educational and cultural programs for all ages.
