Located on the Denison Homestead in Mystic, the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center (DPNC) is a wildlife sanctuary with a natural history museum, a nature preschool, a nature center store, an educational facility, and over eight miles of hiking trails. The center focuses on conservation and preservation of the land southeastern Connecticut, and the Coogan Farm Nature and Heritage Center feature a range of exhibits and displays about the ecology and history of the area. The center features several exciting exhibits relating to the conservation of the region and offers a variety of informative environmental education programs and guided hikes for all ages and skill levels. The Nature Center Store sells a variety of books, games, gifts, and souvenirs.
