Active visitors will surely enjoy the ample network of trails available throughout the park, all of which can be explored with convenient trail maps and walking brochures. Sight-seers also have the opportunity to take in the immensely rich and diverse scenery and wildlife that the lands have to offer. From its wetlands to young forests, along with the Wepawaug River flowing through the park, it’s a bustling habitat for birds, deer, and other wildlife. The park is pet-friendly, free to access, and is open to all ages making it a great option for families as well.
