Review:

With over 8.4 acres of land, the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center offers a beautiful and yet informative experience for its visitors. At its basic level, guests may enjoy the sights and sounds of the barrier beaches, tide pools, salt marshes, and coastal dunes. The grounds also include a bird sanctuary, observation platforms, and viewing towers to make every visit even more memorable. However, with the Connecticut Audubon Society’s passion for the awareness and preservation of the Long Island Sound’s ecosystem, there’s a lot that can be learned from the coastal center as well. Rich educational programs and events await families with exhibits, a salt-marsh laboratory, and tide pool demonstrations.
