Wade's Cafe is a long-running eatery on Academy Boulevard that has been serving breakfast and lunch for the local community for more than 65 years. Founded as Wade's Pancake House in 1953, the family-friendly café still serves many of the items that were offered on the original menu, such as the award-winning pancakes stacked with sweet and savory toppings, fluffy egg scrambles and omelets, and the classic bacon and eggs. Other breakfast favorites include breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, corned beef hash, huevos rancheros, stuffed and plain French toast, and waffle combos.
