The orchestra also partners with several organizations to promote classical music and educate, build and strengthen the community, including the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) for a food drive and Boulder High School. The BCO offers the Eva Mesmer Instrument Scholarship each which involves learning how to play the viola and violin, which were left to the orchestra by Eva Mesmer.
