The founders of the Tuscan Springs Hotel and Spa wanted to recreate their experience in Italy’s Tuscan countryside for visitors in Desert Hot Springs. The 16-room boutique hotel makes for a romantic couples’ getaway in the heart of the desert, with cozy rooms for two looking onto lush gardens and the Little San Bernardino Mountains. Guests can enjoy a massage or facial at the La Bella Spa, followed by a trip to the sauna or a soak in the hotel’s large hot mineral water pool or two whirlpool-style pools. Complimentary continental breakfast and snacks start the day off right, with countless dining options available in town for a delicious meal or evening drinks.
