Families will also appreciate that the hotel is located less than 20 minutes away from the city’s major attractions such as SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo. Another fun way to spend the day would be at Belmont Park, which is a short 10 minute drive or 40 minute walk from the hotel. The long-time oceanfront amusement park opened its doors in 1925 and continues to provide entertainment for adults and kids alike. A must-try is the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster that has been around from the very beginning and remains as one of the most popular rides in the theme park. Additionally, there is a rock wall, arcade and zipline among other activities available.

Close to the hotel is the historic Crystal Pier built in 1927. It is located just three blocks away, which makes it an ideal location to take a relaxing morning or evening stroll to. When at the pier, check out Kono’s Café, a popular breakfast and lunch spot for locals and tourists. It is unsurprising to find a long line of people outside the shop waiting for a bite of the café’s hearty portions that come at affordable prices. When paired together with the priceless beach view of one of San Diego’s best surf spots, this is perhaps why it has been a popular attraction since 1991. Get Rates
