The Hearst Castle Theater is located at the Hearst Castle Visitor Center, the first building visitors enter before starting their tour of the Hearst Castle. This five-story screen theater is showing the film Hearst Castle - Building the Dreamas part of the daytime Castle Tours.
Hearst Castle – Building the Dream was produced especially for the Hearst Castle Theater showing the history and construction of the Castle. Occasionally, the Theater shows special entertainment or educational special features. On the way to the theatre, in the lobby, visitors can enjoy the spectacular collection of 17th century tapestries, part of the impressive Hearst collection.
