Founded in 2008 by home brewer and beer lover Aaron Barkenhagen, Bootlegger's Brewery is one of the largest artisan breweries in Orange County. The working factory produces unique small batch beers and craft brews that range from year-round and single releases to seasonal and limited releases.

Some of the craft beers produced by Bootlegger’s Brewery include Palomino Pale Ale, German-style Old World Hefeweizen, Rustic Rye IPA, and Knuckle Sandwich DIPA, to name but a few. Due to an increase in distribution and production capacity, the brewery moved the central office to its current location on Truslow Avenue, while a Bootlegger’s Brewery Tasting Room is located in Downtown Fullerton on Highland Ave. Visitors can enjoy appointment-only guided tours of the brewery, whose motto is “Drink Fresh, Drink Local.”
