Review & FAQ:

William Land Regional Park, commonly referred to as Land Park, is Sacramento's premiere family-friendly urban park, named in honor of area pioneer William Land, the proprietor of the Western Hotel. The 166-acre park is home to some of Sacramento's biggest attractions, including the renowned Sacramento Zoo and the public William Land Golf Course. Families can play at the carnival-style Funderland amusement park or the storybook-themed Fairytale Town, which offers children's playground equipment accessible via a nominal admission fee. Basketball, softball, and soccer fields are available for community use, along with a seasonal children's wading pool. Other attractions include a rock garden, a jogging path, day-use picnic sites, and an amphitheater hosting concerts and special events throughout the year.
