Spanning over half an acre of historical sites is the Saratoga Historical Park. It is managed by the Saratoga Historical Foundation, which was established by Florence Russel Cunningham in 1962, a woman who was passionate about the preservation of Saratoga history. Suffice it to say that her dream has become a reality with the Saratoga Historical Park being home to the Saratoga Historical Museum, the first library building in Saratoga which dates all the back to 1927, and the McWilliams House which was built by the town’s blacksmith in 1865. For those who want to spend the day exploring the park, some of the best ways to see it and learn from it include a historical walking tour, a historical bike tour, and even a garden tour.
