Sweetie Pie’s Restaurant and Bakery is set in one of the original houses built on Placerville’s historic Main Street back in 1865. The historic building was then home to the Sheriff of “Hangtown” and the walls must have many tales to tell. Current owner Patty Clark set out to provide a comfortable place where visitors could relax over a cup of great coffee and a little something to sweeten their day. Today you can stop by for breakfast or lunch or just pop in for a quick cup of coffee and a pastry. The breakfast menu includes all your favorite egg dishes as well as great pancakes and waffles. At lunchtime you can choose from a good selection of salads, sandwiches, tacos and other light dishes.
