The Davis Campus of the University of California is a public institution and one of 10 schools in the University of California system. Founded in 1905 as a farm school for UC – Berkeley, the University of California offers a wide range of academic options across undergraduate, graduate and professional schools and colleges. Set on a 5,300-acre campus just 15 miles from Sacramento, the University is home to an airport, a fire department and a unique collection of outdoor sculptures called Eggheads and there are more than 500 student organizations on campus. The UC Davis has more than 20 NCAA Division I teams and is home to the Aggie Pack, the largest student spirit organization in the country.
