Monkish Brewing Co. is a small Torrance brewery that offers a family-friendly and pet-friendly tasting room. The brewery was opened in 2012 and does not distribute its beers beyond its own tasting room, making each brew an exclusive rare find. Popular brews include taps such as the brewery’s Subliminal Sequel Belgian-style Blonde Ale, Anomaly Belgian-style Dark Strong Ale, Feminist Hibiscus Tripel, Lyre and Rhyme Saison, and Dream Within a Dream Farmhouse Ale. A variety of mixed-fermentation ales are also tapped, including many barrel-aged brews. Food trucks are available on site several days a week, with limited bar snacks served at the tasting room daily.
