Chef Tanya's Kitchen is a low-key Palm Springs eatery opened in 2017 by executive chef Tanya Petrovna, known for its excellent all-vegetarian menu offerings. The restaurant, which was originally founded as a tempeh and seitan production facility, serves up deli sandwiches throughout the day today, stuffed with delicious vegan cheeses and ingredients such as avocado, pickled cabbage, chickpea mock tuna salad, and mock tofu bacon. Specialty sandwich offerings include vegan mimics of popular favorites like pastramis on rye, Cubanos, and barbecue rib sandwiches. Diners can also enjoy vegan lasagna at dinner, complemented by a selection of seasonal veggie bowls, loaded salads, and daily scratch-made soups.
