Scargo Lake

Scargo Pond (or lake) is a natural fresh-water kettle pond located in Dennis, Cape Cod. The lake covers around 60 acres and is known for its clear still waters which are ideal for swimming. While there is not much of a beach at the pond, it is a great place to bring the family to swim in the calm roped-off swimming area. There are also a few swings for kids to enjoy and a picnic pavilion is available on a first come, first served basis. The pond is regularly stocked with fish which means you can also spend some time trying to catch your dinner. Find parking fee information.
