Situated at the entrance of Puerto Rico’s San Juan Bay, is Isla de Cabras, a historically significant island turned recreational park in the Palo Seco Barrio of Toa Baja. Long before it became a tourist destination, Isla de Cabras was the location of a strategic fort across from Fort San Felipe del Morro, and a critical defensive location for the Bayamon River. Today, the island is a gorgeous recreational park that is home to several beautiful gazebos and great locations for swimming, sunbathing, and even fishing. From Isla de Cabras, guests can snap a great photo of El Morro and its surrounding vistas, and even visit a shooting range.
