Nai-Yang Beach is located on the northwest coast of Phuket with the international airport runway situated directly at the northern end of the beach. While the north end of the beach can be reasonably noisy with aircraft landing and taking off, the southern end is much quieter. Set in the middle of the idyllic Sirinat National Park, the beach lies in a semicircular bay opening in a northwestern direction protected by a coral reef off the coast, making swimming and snorkeling conditions very good. The protected coral reef is also excellent for scuba-diving, and a well-equipped diving school at the beach offers courses and dive excursions to the exciting dive sites along the coast. Nai Yang Beach also offers horseback riding along the beach, kayaking, beach massages, and golf nearby.
