Nestled away in the hills of Roland, An Enchanted Evening Wine Tasting Yurt provides a unique and intimately beautiful experience for its guests. This lovely vineyard has a tiny tasting room in an actual yurt, where guests can gather around the central, circular tasting bar to indulge in some of the winery’s products, like the Enchanting Dry White, or Together Again, a red that is classified as semi-sweet. A tasting fee does apply, but is waived with the purchase of a bottle of wine. If the yurt and its cozy furnishings start to feel a little claustrophobic, or if it’s a beautiful day outside, guests are also welcome to enjoy their wine out on the gorgeous patio, which overlooks Pinnacle Mountain.

Since the mid-1990s, BoBrook Farms has been a charming family owned and operated farm in Pulaski County. Located very conveniently to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, BoBrook Farms makes for a perfect way to round out an afternoon spent hiking or exploring the park, or as a destination on its own. BoBrook Farms grows lots of products, including grapes, berries, and pumpkins, and their associated winery is called Riverbottom Wines. The wines at Riverbottom are made primarily with grapes grown on site, though they do source some juices from around the world for some of their more traditional varietals. Wine tastings are offered on the weekends and are free for guests, and there is also beer and some light snacks on the menu as well.

The Post family has a long history of winemaking in the Altus region of Arkansas, and their name can be found on several wineries throughout the region. Since the early 20th century, the family has been growing grapes and producing wine, and Mount Bethel Winery showcases some of that history and talent. In the tasting room at Mount Bethel Winery, guests will have the opportunity to try some of these wines, poured by the family members themselves, who are always happy to teach guests about all the love and work that goes into each bottle.
