Just miles from downtown Tucson is one of southern Arizona’s oldest vineyards. Well-known for their White Merlot, this picturesque winery invites visitors to enjoy the panoramic view of the Santa Rita mountain range while sipping on a glass of wine and sampling the contents of one of their gourmet picnic baskets. Their air-conditioned tasting room is open to the public every Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and can also be reserved for private events. Oenophiles won’t be able to resist bringing home a bottle or two along with wine-themed mer-chandise like t-shirts and souvenir glasses.
