Don’t let its quaint exterior fool you, the Fort Huachuca Museum is filled with artifacts and showcases which tell the story of the fort as well as the history of military activity in the Southwest. The museum, which was founded in 1960, has a permanent collection of over 7,000 objects, photographs, documents, and memorabilia, all of which are carefully curated and displayed within the Forth Huachuca Museum. The exhibits weave the beautiful story of the Fort’s long and colored 135-year-long history. Learn about the key role that Fort Huachuca played in national defense during the late 1800s, its role as the Army Electronic Proving Ground during the 1950s, and more, when you visit the museum.
