Review:

Randall Creek State Recreation Area is a state recreation area set along the banks of the Missouri River just below the Fort Randall Dam in Gregory County. Spanning 184 acres downstream from the Fort Randall Dam, which was built by the US Army Corps of Engineers in the mid-1900s, the area is home to a wealth of bird and wildlife, including the majestic bald eagle. The area where the eagles roost is a designated National Natural Landmark, and motorized traffic in the areas with winter bald eagle roosts is prohibited. The lake also attracts an array of waterfowl and other bird species, which make for excellent bird-watching, and other activities in the park include hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and nature walks.
