Also known as the Ancient Spanish Monastery, St Bernard De Clairvaux is a beautifully preserved medieval Spanish monastery in North Miami Beach and one of the oldest buildings in the Western Hemisphere. Situated on West Dixie Highway, the Monastery, which is now a church and popular tourist attraction, provides a variety of ceremonies ranging from traditional, interfaith, and non-denominational, to contemporary and civil, as well as a selection of beautiful settings for the most sacred of celebrations. The Ancient Spanish Monastery boasts three charming chapels, namely the Main Chapel, the Chapter House, and the French Altar, along with five exquisitely landscaped and themed gardens for ceremonies, and traditional cloisters for receptions. There are also five outdoor spaces and gardens around the property that can accommodate up to 300 guests for seated or standing events and include the Loggia, the Banyan Tree, St. John Garden, the Prayer Well, and the Saviour Garden.

The Main Chapel can accommodate up to 150 guests, the Chapter House can host up to 80 guests, and the French Altar can host up to 10 guests for a more intimate and private affair. Rental of any one of the Main Chapel and the Chapter House include an organist, and a pipe organ/keyboard.
The formal gardens of the Ancient Spanish Monastery are also perfect places for ceremonies with lush foliage and trees, including rare palms, banyans, Spanish oaks and cycads, and the ancient monastery in the background. Five outdoor spaces are available for ceremonies, including the Loggia, the Banyan Tree, St. John Garden, the Prayer Well, and the Saviour Garden, which can accommodate up to 300 guests.
Services available with the rental of one of the venues at theSt Bernard De Clairvaux Ancient Spanish Monastery include one hour use of the ceremony venues and three hours for the reception venues, an organist, and a pipe organ/keyboard with the rental of the Main Chapel and the Chapter House. Also offered are set-up and clean-up of the venue, photography, a bridal suite and dressing room, tables and chairs in certain reception venues, a security guard at the gate, and ample free parking on the grounds. A coordinator for the day of the event can be arranged for an additional fee, as well as exclusive extras such as wrought iron arch and gazebo and engraved bricks for the couple.
