The Smith Center is a world-class performing art that offers a variety of well-appointed venues for hosting destination wedding ceremonies and receptions. Located in the center of Downtown Las Vegas’ Symphony Park, the five-acre performing arts center was designed by David M.Schwartz in the Neo Art Deco style and echoes the design elements of the Hoover Dam and accents from the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Texas. The Smith Center features three theaters in two separate buildings and a 17-story carillon tower with 47 bells, along with a selection of venues for events of every type and size. Whether a grand gathering or intimate affair, the Smith Center has a room for every function, ranging from the private Upper Lobby with a balcony overlooking Symphony Park and an elegant lounge area to the stylish Founders Room which overlooks Boman Pavilion and Symphony Park. The magnificent 2,050-seat Reynolds Hall is the most significant space at the Center and features a high ceiling, a dramatic stage, striking balconies and a full orchestra pit and can be rented for exclusive performances.
The Grand Lobby is an exquisite 5,000 square foot open-plan space with lavish décor, stunning sculptures, high ceilings with 19-foot tall chandeliers, and authentic Italian stone accents. This beautiful area is ideal for chic cocktail receptions, formal dinners, and dream weddings.
The Founders Room is a stylish space with views of the Boman Pavilion and Symphony Park and offers a unique venue, and the Mezzanine Lounge is a 1,500 square foot comfortable and versatile space that can cater up to 48 people.
The Upper Lobby is a more private version of the Grand Lobby, with a comfortable lounge area and an ornate balcony overlooking Symphony Park. The attached West Lounge can seat up to 10 guests, and the Carillon Salon can host seven people.
Myron's Cabaret Jazz is a distinct venue with stylish décor and furniture, a built-in screen and projector, and a mezzanine balcony with stunning views of Symphony Park and the Troesh Studio Theater is a versatile space with large windows, customized lighting, and a floating dance floor. The Troesh Studio Theater can accommodate up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing events.
The 6,200 square foot outdoor courtyard is perfect for alfresco-style dinners and cocktail parties, and the Donald W. Reynolds Symphony Park spans 1.9 acres offers a lovely grass setting with spectacular views of Downtown Las Vegas.
The Smith Center offers a variety of all-inclusive packages, which provide a range of services for both ceremonies and receptions. The venue also includes a list of preferred vendors for a variety of services such as catering and beverages, music and entertainment, floral arrangements, décor and drapery, photography, videography, tuxedo rental, wedding cakes, and more.
The Smith Center is located at 361 Symphony Park Avenue in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas’ Symphony Park, is wheelchair accessible and offers ample parking within proximity of the Center. The official Smith Center parking areas can be entered from West Clark Avenue or Symphony Park Avenue, and shuttle services are available if needed. Valet parking is available in front of Reynolds Hall on Symphony Park Avenue for an additional fee. There is also a surface parking lot next to the Discovery Children’s Museum on Promenade Place for a nominal fee.
