Visitors of Goldmyer Hot Springs can enjoy a variety of activities both on and off of the property.
Within the surrounding Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley, guests observe many animals, including bears, owls, and rare breeds of salamanders, in their natural habitat. Other popular activities include hiking, bird watching, and photography. Hiking and rock climbing are also very popular at one of the mountains, parks, or wildlife preserves in the North Bend area. Well-known destinations include Little Si Mountain, Rattlesnake Ledge Trail, and Mailbox Peak, which offer challenging hiking trails and views of the surrounding landscape.
The Snoqualmie Tunnel is particularly popular with tourists. Passing through a mountain, this unlit tunnel adds a thrill to a typical hiking trip.
Guests can take in a movie at the North Bend Theater, buy a unique souvenir at White Hare Vintage, or dine at one of North Bend’s eateries. Biking and golfing are also available within the city.
Outside of North Bend, guests can head north to Fall City. Animal lovers can visit the Fall City Wallaby Ranch, which houses a thriving population of wallabies, wallaroos, and red kangaroos. Guests can tour the grounds, hold, and even feed the animals there.
Carnation, located north of North Bend, offers the Camlann Medieval Village. The Camlann Medieval Village is a faux-medieval village, where guests can interact with historical reenactors, watch demonstrations of different medieval activities, and eat the Ye Bors Hede Inne.
Guests can also head east to Issaquah to tour Treehouse Point. Surrounded by nature, Treehouse Point is the site of six eco-friendly treehouses. Guests can tour each of these unique structures or enjoy a treehouse-building workshop.
In nearby Snoqualmie, visitors can head to the Northwest Railway Museum. As the largest and oldest railway museum in Washington, the Northwest Railway Museum displays relics from the history of rail travel. Guests can view more than 70 train cars, and even take a ride on a still-operating antique train.
For more entertainment, guests can visit the Snoqualmie Casino. The casino offers gambling at tables and slot machines, dining at one of the casino’s restaurant, and live music. Guests can also enjoy a cigar in the casino’s cigar lounge.
