1.The Teapot Dome Gas Station
The Teapot Dome Gas Station was at one time in history a gas station that was constructed to look like a teapot. Located in the city of Zillah on First Avenue, the now roadside attraction was added to the country’s National Register of Historic Places and now serves as the city’s visitors center. The gas station was built to resemble a teapot to serve as a reminder of the area’s Teapot Dome Scandal that resulted in Albert Fall, the Interior Secretary at the time, being sent to prison for the part he played in leasing some of the government’s oil reserves.

2.Two Mountain Winery

The Two Mountain Winery gets its name from the spectacular views of Mount Rainier and Mount Adams, which act as the Copeland Vineyard’s backdrop. Each one of the wines offered by Two Mountain Winery is made from estate grown grapes, produced and bottled by the winery. The Tasting Room offers samples of the estate wines, as well as a chance to talk with the some of the Two Mountain family and just spend a few hours or a day at the wine country of Zillah. The Tasting Room is open seven days a week, from 10:00am until 6:00pm.

3.Silver Lake Winery

The Silver Lake Winery was established in 1987 and has grown over the years to now become the largest consumer-owned winery in the state of Washington, offering award-winning ultra-premium, super-premium, and premium wines that customers can either drink immediately after purchase or store in a cellar to enjoy later in the future. Those interested in trying the wines at the Tasting Room can do so at the Silver Lake Winery at the Roza Hills Vineyard. The Tasting Room is open from noon until 5:00pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 11:00am until 6:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

4.Paradisos Del Sol

Paradisos Del Sol is an organic vineyard and farmery located in the center of the Yakima Valley of Washington, in the heart of the Yakima Valley AVA and the Rattlesnake Hills AVA. Labeled as a “farmery,” Paradisos Del Sol is a winery that is situated on a farm, meaning that visitors will find many different animals across the grounds, including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, pigs, and sheep. The Tasting Room offers great mountain views and wine tastings seven days a week from 11:00am until 6:00pm. While there is a tasting fee, it’s waived with a minimum purchase.

The Dineen Vineyards can be found just outside of Zillah, nestled among the hills of Washington’s Lower Yakima Valley. The family-owned and managed viticulture wine business is committed to growing only the area’s highest quality grapes, partnering with winemakers to create highly-acclaimed wines from the vineyard’s fruit. Dineen Vineyards itself produces estate bottled wines with their own label in limited quantities and offers wine tastings in its Tasting Room from 12:00pm until 5:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from the beginning of April through the end of October. Wood-fired pizzas are offered on select Saturdays as well.

6.Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail
The Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail features wineries on beautiful vineyards and winery owners tending to visitors in the tasting rooms. This particular wine trail is referred to often as the region’s “green” tour through the wineries of the Yakima Valley AVA. The trail takes visitors through some of the area’s best vineyard and orchard land, with each and every winery provides its own unique setting for sipping a glass or two of wine. No reservations are needed to stop by the tasting rooms of these wineries, which vary in architectural style from modern Northwest to traditional European.

The Squeeze Inn Restaurant is known in the Zillah community for providing guests with a great gastronomical experience featuring a menu with a few well known dishes. The dining established is perhaps best known, however, for its broad array of homemade authentic pizzas, as well as its friendly and attentive wait staff.
