The Birch also hosts a variety of special events and activities to keep patrons engaged. Some of them include the Mikkeller Running Club, which meets at 10:00am every first Sunday of the month. Running club activities are followed by some socializing at the Waffletina Brunch.

There is also the 43 Hours of Festivals, which is The Birch’s idea to offer 43 ways to celebrate the 43 hours that they are open for operation each week. At the 43 Hours of Festivals activities a select craft beer or cider is chosen to accompany the weekly theme for the 43 Hours of Festivals.
