Housed in a 119-year-old building dating back to 1890 on Historic 25th Street in Downtown Ogden, the first Roosters Brewing Company was opened in 1995 by Kym and Pete Buttschardt and features a lovely outdoor patio and welcoming ambiance. The second Roosters Brewing Company location was opened in 2005 in a new location just off ‘Restaurant Row’ in Layton and was Davis County's first and only microbrewery. The brewpub produces and serves 26 unique beers including originals such as Bees Knees Honey Wheat, Two-Bit Amber, and the well-known Polygamy Pale Ale, as well as homemade Orange Cream Soda or Roosters Root Beer. Visitors can tuck into hearty, homecooked cuisine such as a variety of appetizers, entrées, pasta, and pizza while tasting the brews.
