The Moab Arts & Recreation Center, or MARC, as it’s known is a centrally located historical stone building, built in 1925 as a Mormon church. The building served as a school in the 1960’s and in 1987 was sold to the city for use as a museum where it housed the Hollywood Stuntmen's Hall of Fame until 1994. In the late 1990’s, the city decided the building would benefit the community most as a center for classes in art, dance and music, and the MARC was born. This historic venue is now popular as a wedding location. The beautiful open floor plan retains the arched church windows and wood floors, and the site includes a private outdoor space.
