Terra Mae, which translates as “Mother Earth,” is a mission statement for the restaurant and they try to take influence and inspiration on a worldwide scope. Test Kitchen Tuesdays
On Tuesdays the Terra Mae team dream up an exciting new dish that the public can be the first to taste test for 20% off the market price. It could be an appetizer, a main, or a salad and your feedback will decide whether the dish makes it onto the menu fulltime. The Chef’s Table
Whilst every table in the restaurant will provide an experience to remember, the Chef’s Table works on a completely different level. You can reserve the Chef’s Table at least 48 hours in advance and what you can expect is five courses of the finest carefully curated treats and goodies. Handcrafted for you by Head Chef Hardin Cowan, this is an experience for the experimental. It’s unique and unexpected but sure to satisfy even the most sophisticated of palates.
Hours of Operation
Terra Mae operates 5 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
? First Course - Fried oysters, cheese tasting, porkbelly hoecakes, kale cashew dip, truffled ricotta ravioli, and charcuterie.
? Second Course - Thai lobster soup, Dwell Salad, artichoke and olive, tomato aspic, lemon tahini cabbage, and shaved baby squash salad.
? Third Course – Herb-marinated monk fish and lobster, Beeler’s pork roulade, grilled heirloom tomato, spice-rubbed Louisiana tuna, chicken poussin, and select cut filet.
? Dessert – Strawberry ambrosia panna cotta with coconut and marshmallow, seasonal creme brulee, whiskey toffee cake with candied hazelnuts, citron buttermilk bites with lavender and rosemary meringue, and chocolate three ways.
