- Planning and Preparation Are Key - When planning any kind of trip away, whether it’s a simple weekend in a nearby city or a month-long expedition to the other side of the world, planning and preparation are always important, and they’re especially essential when trying to make the most of your 10 days and nights in Europe. Most people will aim to see and do as much as possible during this timeframe, so you need to plan the whole thing out ahead of time, working out what you’re going to be doing each day, where you’re going to be traveling, how you’re going to get there, and everything else in between.

- Always Have A Back-Up - Sometimes, things don’t go to plan. Maybe one of your trains or buses will get delayed, maybe you’ll decide you want to do something differently, maybe the weather won’t go the way you hoped for that day you planned to spend out and about exploring Rome or Paris. This is why it always pays off to have back-up plans and ideas to fall back on. Over the course of a 10 day trip across Europe, it’s only natural that everything won’t go exactly the way you planned it, but if you have other ideas noted down in your travel itinerary, you still won’t have to worry about wasting any time.

- Travel Light - For most 10 day Europe trips, you’re going to be moving around a lot, hopping from one city to the next, crossing over borders, maybe even catching a couple of planes to visit different countries and parts of the continent. Doing all of that with a huge suitcase and lots of things to carry around is going to be a lot harder than simply traveling with a good quality backpack or small suitcase. Remember that you’re only going to be away for 10 days, so you don’t need to take your entire wardrobe with you, and remember to leave some room for souvenirs too.

- Stick to Your Budget - Planning out a budget for your 10 day Europe trip is essential. Nobody wants to get home and realize they spent twice as much as they initially planned. If you’re going to be visiting big cities, you need to know that the costs of things like food and public transportation might be quite high, so plan for this by packing your own snacks, booking nights in hostels to cut down on accommodation costs, and reserving your travel tickets for trains, planes, and coaches in advance to save cash.

Western Europe Adventure

Our Western Europe Adventure itinerary will take you around the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands, offering a full experience of some of the best countries and locations Western Europe has to offer. This itinerary starts off in London. London has some of the busiest and best airports around, so it's easy to get flights here.

There, you’ll be able to explore beautiful Paris, before continuing on an overnight bus or train to Rome. From there, you'll be able to explore Italy, heading to Milan, Venice, or Florence, before circling back around in a northwestern direction, perhaps passing through Switzerland or Germany on your way to Belgium, where you can visit Brussels or Bruges, then up to Amsterdam to end your adventure.

The Magical Mediterranean

If you're looking to enjoy the sunnier side of Europe, why not head off on a magical Mediterranean tour of Spain, France, and Monaco, with the possibility of heading further along the coast into Italy as well? From there, you can head north, passing through Andorra before entering France and heading along the coast. Possible stops include the medieval fortress town of Carcassonne or the beautiful coastal resort of Sete.

Continuing on along the coast, you'll visit some of the best spots on the French Riviera like Saint Tropez and Nice, as well as experiencing the elegant, regal beauty of Monaco and then perhaps continuing on into Italy to locations like Genoa or the Cinque Terre.
