Owner/Chef Liz McCune created Eat Seattle Tours and Classes after traveling throughout Europe with her husband, indulging in various European cuisines. Eat Seattle Tours and Classes provides a way for people to not only learn about local Seattle cultural cuisine influences but to also create them as well.
Eat Seattle Tours and Classes offers a tour that allows people to learn more about the Pacific Northwest culture and how various aspects of the culture influence cuisine. The main tour option includes:
Chef Guided Food Tour - This is the main tour offered by Eat Seattle Tours and Classes. This tour is unique in that it offers a perspective of the Pacific Northwest cuisine through the eyes of trained chefs. These chefs have cultivated relationships with vendors at the well-known Pike’s Place Market and are capable of not only explaining how culture influences the cuisine of the Pacific Northwest but also showing tour participants the versatility of local ingredients by creating chef samples using products sourced from the vendors at Pike’s Place.
Tours are 2 hours long and offer participants 16 different tastings.
Eat Seattle Tours and Classes offers several types of classes. They include:
· Cooking Classes - These classes offer participants the opportunity to enjoy a thorough chef-guided tour of Seattle’s well-known Pike’s Place Market, where the chef will explain the importance of using certain ingredients while shopping for the items needed to prepare a Pacific Northwest-influenced three-course meal. Class participants will then prepare a meal led by the chef. Some perks offered via the cooking class include:

· Teambuilding - This class presents a unique opportunity for businesses and corporations to build moral and support among workers through cooking. Participants will create a menu and prepare a gourmet meal together and team work is required. Different teambuilding exercises are available based on preference.
