The Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture is a museum dedicated to showcasing the history and heritage of Dallas County and can be rented for special celebrations and functions such as wedding ceremonies and receptions. Located in the heart of Dealey Plaza in a historic building that was once the courthouse, the museum was established to educate and inspire visitors about the rich and diverse cultural, economic, political and social history of the Dallas County area. Built in 1892, the beautifully restored Old Red Courthouse serves as a symbol of Dallas heritage and is home to an array of exhibition halls and galleries that are filled with fascinating historical artifacts, items, and objects.
