Family owned and operated since it was founded in 2010, Overmountain Vineyards is located on a 70-acre farm in the Tryon Foothills of North Carolina, a short drive away from the South Carolina border. Seventeen acres of the farm are dedicated to its vineyards, which grow five types of grapes that are used to produce most of the winery's French-style wine. The tasting room can be found inside a charming cottage. Visitors are also welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with a glass or bottle of wine.
