Situated on the sleepy, peaceful Wadmalaw Island, Deep Water Vineyard is a 48-acre vineyard and winery that produces and bottles all its wine on-site. The winery specializes in wine made from muscadine grapes, one of the only grapes native to America, but it also produces wine using grapes sourced from a vineyard in California. Wine tastings and self-guided tours of the vineyard are available Tuesday through Saturday, and live music and food can be found in the vineyard every Saturday afternoon. Visitors are also welcome to attend one of the winery's four annual events, which include an oyster roast and a grape stomp festival.
