Review & FAQ:
Thomas Creek Brewery has been family owned since 1998 and began in downtown Greenville in 1994 as Henni’s Brewpub. The handcrafted beers begin with Blue Ridge Mountain water and use the finest ingredients. You can visit the brewery to get a pint, growler, or 6-pack or to go on a tour. They even have a fully-stocked homebrew shop for those who want to make their own beer. The brewery also prides itself on delivering a high-quality product, reducing their environmental impact, and giving back to charities, like Greenville Humane Society and Hands On Greenville, among others. Although tours are only available by appointment, you can visit the taproom any time during opening hours. The taproom opens at 1 pm on Sundays or 10 am every other day of the week, always closing at 8 pm. The homebrew shop has similar hours, but closes at 6 pm on Mondays through Sundays. Just some of the brews you will find include an Irish style red, a German Pilsner, an American amber, a German doppelbock, a hybrid, an oatmeal stout, an American IPA, and an imperial IPA. Between year-round releases, the Atypical Series, seasonals, and specialty brews, there are choices for all tastes.
