Review & FAQ:

COAST Brewing Company is family owned, making and serving craft beers on a former Navy base. They always use local, organic ingredients and put the environment first in as many of their decisions as possible. So customers know exactly what they are getting, all beers have their ingredients listed, including notes for which ingredients are organic. This brewery’s offerings include Boy King (an Imperial India Pale Ale), Hop Art (an India pale ale), Dead Arm (an American pale ale), Kolsch, Blackbeerd (an Imperial Stout), Rye Knot (an American brown ale), and seasonal brews like Oktoberfest, Single Hop, Shreddin’ Wheat, Event Horizon, Carnie Fire, and Saison du Fus. The tasting room is only open three days a week, so plan accordingly. On Thursdays and Fridays, you can visit from 4 pm to 7 pm or on Saturdays, you can head over between 12 pm and 5 pm. If you visit, keep in mind that this is a functional brewery and the taproom space is not fully separate. You can also buy their brews in cans or bottles to enjoy during the week. Check the calendar for special events as well, such as Big Boned BBQ.
