Since 1966 the Family Kingdom Amusement Park has been providing seaside entertainment for families and visitors of all ages. The park operates from early April to early October each year and has 37 rides, including family rides, thrill rides, kiddie rides, go karts, and several more. The 2,400-foot Swamp Fox roller coaster is one of the most popular rides and has also been declared a historic structure as it is one of the few wooden roller coasters still operating in North America. Get a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and Myrtle Beach while being lifted over 100 feet in the air on the open-gondola Giant Wheel. Free entertainment such as stilt walkers, magicians, and much more add a wonderful feel to the fair-like atmosphere. O.D. Pavilion Amusement Park is a family-friendly park that has a memorable beach boardwalk atmosphere. Park admission and parking are completely free while ride tickets are only $1 each, with rides requiring three to four tickets to ride. For just $20 per person you can purchase a band and ride everything available as many times as you like.
