The world's first Virgin Hotel is based at the 26-story Old Dearborn Bank Building at 203 North Wabash in downtown Chicago, just steps away from the Magnificent Mile. The old Art Deco building still sports much of its original vintage finishes, as well as 250 guest rooms, chambers as they are called, a swanky rooftop bar, modern American diner called Miss Ricky’s, and an elegant lounge called the Commons Club.
Decked out Virgin's traditional red and white colors, modern guest rooms are offered in seven different room sizes and layouts, ranging from mini rooms and studios to two luxurious penthouse suites. The sleek rooms feature wooden floors, separate dressing areas, and en-suite bathrooms with rainfall showers, and virtually every device in the hotel's rooms such as television, sound systems, and wireless Internet can be controlled from the new Virgin Hotel app. Luxury suites add separate living and dining areas, and room service is available 24/7.
An evening social hour can be enjoyed every night in the trendy cocktail lounge followed by dinner in the casual American diner. A hip rooftop bar draws a fashionable crowd for post-dinner drinks and cocktails, and a coffee shop provides refreshments and snacks throughout the day. Other amenities at this hip, modern hotel include a 24-hour fitness center, an exclusive spa and three meeting rooms for business conferences, functions, and events.
The Virgin Hotel Chicago is ideally located for exploring the city and is only a mile from the Museum of Contemporary Art and Navy Pier and a short walk from Millennium Park.
