The Reynolds Tavern features three luxuriously appointed guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms and tasteful décor. All three guest rooms are beautifully decorated with period furnishings and antiques, king-size beds with deluxe linens, en-suite bathrooms with showers and soaking tubs, and charming views.
The Jefferson Suite is a large, two-room suite with lovely views of Church Circle. The suite is decorated with soft furnishings and period antiques and features original wooden floors covered with oriental rugs, a California King pediment bed with luxury linens, a spacious sitting room with a standard sofa bed, and comfortable seating, creating a cozy atmosphere for relaxation.
The Washington Suite is a spacious, two-room suite furnished with period antiques and elegantly soft furnishings. Located at the front of the house, this suite features original wooden floors, a sumptuous king-size four poster bed with deluxe linens, a spacious sitting room with a queen-size sofa bed and two comfortable Windsor chairs, and memorable views of Saint Anne’s church, Church Circle, and in the State House Dome.
Named after William Reynolds’ third wife, the Mary Reynolds Room is an elegant 1906 room with a view over the enclosed courtyard and terrace. The beautifully appointed room is furnished in an English Country style and features a queen-size bed with deluxe linens, an armoire for storage, ,a small writing desk and a winged back chair, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. The 1747 Pub is based in the original kitchen and ‘Hat Shop’ of William Reynolds and features low ceilings, thick stone and brick walls and floors, a large walk-in fireplace, and the original stairwell from the 1737 construction. The Pub provides a cozy spot for lunch, dinner, happy hour, or a drink with friends and the outdoor Beer Garden directly behind Reynolds Tavern offers the same in the summer months. Originally housing stables for William Reynolds’ traveling guests, the Beer Garden is flanked by the old Smoke House (circa 1737) and an Old Magnolia tree that sits in the corner of the property.
