The story of Homestead Inn started in 1997 when Theresa and Thomas Henkelmann purchased the property to start Thomas’ endeavor of showcasing his world class and classic cuisine and award winning list of wine. Theresa, on the other hand, showcased her talent in design and worked her magic on the restaurant and hotel. Together, they integrated architecture and individuality to create the Homestead Inn, transforming it into what it is today.
Accommodations at the Homestead Inn – Thomas Henkelmann are known to be sophisticated and chic, and they are far from the typical hotel guest room. Every room is designed with great attention to detail, with the central goal of having a contemporary look without sacrificing amenities and providing the comforts of the modern life.
Located at the Carriage House, Manor House, and Cottage buildings are the Deluxe Chamber rooms. These have one queen bed as well as an en suite bathroom that features Bulgari Bath amenities and luxurious bathrobes. There is also nightly turn down service.
The Grand Deluxe Chambers can be found at the Manor House and Carriage House. Each of these rooms have one king bed and an en suite bathroom featuring Bulgari bath amenities and plush bathrobes. These rooms also have nightly Turn down service.
Also at the Manor House and Carriage House are the Grand Luxury Suite rooms. They either have one king or queen bed as well as an en suite bathroom with Bulgari bath amenities and luxurious bathrobes. Naturally, they have nightly turn down service. The grand luxury suite also has a separate living room for the guests’ leisure and comfort.
Each of these rooms offers a wide variety of amenities. Aside from the King or Queen bed, they have Fili d’oro linens and down pillows on request for added comfort. Each of the rooms is air conditioned, individually designed, and made all the more refined with designer furniture. On top of the Bulgari amenities and bathrobes, guests will have their own magnified makeup mirrors and hair dryers. Entertainment features include cable television, modem and wireless Internet connection, and a clock radio and audio systems for iPods.
The inn has around the clock front desk coverage as well as in-room dining served by the restaurant. Rates are based on occupancy, which is either single or double. Clearly, these chambers have much to offer their occupants in the realms of comfort and luxury.
