Coco Pazzo’s history goes way back in 1996 when it was still the Tuscan restaurant in Streeterville until it was forced to relocate and merge with the nearby Roman restaurant Tre Soldi. Since then, the establishment has been serving innovative Italian fare in a way that gains the interests of newcomers without affecting its regular patrons.
The loft building within which the restaurant is established is roughly 100 years old and it characterized by its rich cypress floors and brick walls and matching velvet drapes. All this gives Coco Pazzo a rustic but urban atmosphere that many look for in an upscale dining experience.
While the restaurant’s name literally means ”crazy chef” in Italian, Coco Pazzo’s is quite known for its superb Tuscan Italian cuisine and quality wines which have been rated as one of the best in Chicago. It’s definitely one of the go-to for fine Italian fare in the City.
